Tyson Fury expects his brother Tommy would need to step away from professional competition if he’s unable to defeat Jake Paul in their upcoming fight.

Internet sensation turned boxer Jake Paul is set to collide with Tommy Fury in a long-awaited boxing match this Sunday, Feb. 26 in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. The two got paired for an outing on two separate occasions prior to the upcoming event, with Fury pulling out twice. Tommy will mark his return to action after defeating Daniel Bocianski in his last showing. Both men enter the bout with the risk of getting their undefeated runs snapped.

Tyson Fury says Tommy will not box anymore if he loses to Jake Paul

In a recent interview with Seconds Out, boxing icon Tyson Fury shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between his brother Tommy and Jake Paul. He expects his brother to come out on top lest he risks an exit from the sport altogether.

“Tommy’s got to do what he’s got to do,” said Fury. “But if he loses to Jake Paul, which I don’t think he will I think he knocks Jake Paul out seven days a week 45 times on a Sunday. But if he loses to Jake Paul he’s finished with boxing anybody. He’s been paid well enough so he’s been compensated for the massive risk but I can’t see it. I don’t think even if Jake Paul had a hammer in each hand he could beat Tommy anyway.”

Fury praised the Paul brothers and hopes they all make millions

‘The Gypsy King’ heaped praises on the Paul brothers, Logan, and Jake, for the immense success they achieved in their respective sporting ventures.

“I think Jake Paul and his brother have done really well out of it. They’ve made multi-millions and that’s what the game is about; getting paid and getting laid and going home in one piece. If it’s about anything more, I don’t know. They’ve done that in abundance. So anyone who says YouTubers, anyone who says these guys are not good for what they do then obviously they’re jealous. But I’m not a jealous person. I wish them all luck. I hope they all make millions of dollars.”

Tyson Fury was expected to line up against fellow boxing standout Oleksandr Usyk for his next bout. However, negotiations seem to have hit a roadblock. He was also linked to a potential crossover showdown with Francis Ngannou but it remains to be seen what his next move is.
