From boxing one of the best boxers to ever do it to co-promoting a slap fighting event with ‘The Terminator’, Logan Paul does it all, apparently.

On the latest episode of IMPAULSIVE, Paul’s podcast, he had famous celebrity Arnold Schwarzenegger on, and they revealed that they will be co-promoting a slap-fighting event in March.

“We are doing the slap fest together.” Arnold Said. “okay this is gonna be big time, because I’ve never seen this live.”

“Dude I can’t imagine being in that arena watching these guys slap the [ __ ] out of each. Okay breaking, here’s the alpha, Arnold and I are presenting the slap fighting championship in Columbus, Ohio on March 5th,” Paul said. “You may have seen this event go viral online where two men or women, stand across from each other and slap the shit out of each other,”

“Slap for slap. It started in Russia, then it moved to Poland then it got some infrastructure, now they’re bringing it to the United States. We’re doing it at the Arnold Classic your bodybuilding event uh i think on the last day. He and I are presenting. Why this is hilarious is because I was supposed to go to Russia to enter the slap contest. I don’t know if you know this Arnold.”

Paul revealed that he had filmed a documentary of his training for a slap contest in 2019, but when he actually slapped someone, he realized it was a violent sport and didn’t want to get slapped. And so now he is co-promoting an event.

In an interview with USA Today, Paul said he loved the absurdity of it

“I love the absurdity of it. I love the idea that two guys could just stand across from each other and just slap each other and see who falls down first. It’s hilarious to me. It’s like, how is that a real event? What the (expletive) is that sport?”

According to that same USA Today interview, two of the people confirmed for the event are Dawid “Zales” Zalewski and Koa “Da Crazy Hawaiian” Viernes. Last October, Zalewski slapped Artur “Waluś” Walczak so hard that he caused a brain injury that ultimately killed him.

Yep. This is a violent sport with consequences.

The event will take place on March 5 at the annual Arnold Strongman Classic in Columbus, Ohio. It will be available on Fanmio.com and Paul’s YouTube channel, and Facebook page.

Pillow fighting, 3-1 fights, intergender fights, slap-fighting….what the hell is next?
