Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner Welterweight World Title Bout
Showtime is back on PPV with the biggest boxing match of the year which is taking place tonight (Sat., Jan. 19, 2019) from inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Nevada, where Manny Pacquiao will put his WBA regular welterweight world title on the line against controversial former WBA champion Adrien Broner in the main event.
Pacquiao captured the title after defeating Lucas Matthysse via TKO in the seventh round back in July 2018. The 40-year-old, eight-division champion still showing us that he can get things done inside the ring. With a successful title defense, tonight may put “Pac-Man,” in a line against Floyd Mayweather rematch.
Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs) meanwhile didn’t had a good run in his last two fights. Last year in April Broner fought Jessie Vargas to a majority draw, prior to that he came up short to Mikey Garcia in July 2017.

According to BoxingScene’s Keith Idec, Pacquiao guaranteed $20 million. He’ll take home $10 million on Saturday night from which Manny will settle his debt with IRS, his sanctioning fee for defending the title and his pre-determined fees to members of his camp. The rest of $10 million would come from PPV revenue.
While Broner who’s making his PPV debut banks $2.5 million for the biggest fight of his career.
