It looks like Jake Paul and Tommy Fury’s fight has been cancelled yet again.

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury won’t be fighting

After initially teasing that he’d move on from the fight, Jake Paul has announced that he officially will not be fighting Tommy Fury on August 6 from Madison Square Garden.

This marks the second time that the fight has been cancelled between the pair. However, Paul did note that he will be hunting for an opponent to replace Fury, keeping the August 6 date.

“Fury’s received a termination notice. MVP did everything it could 2 help him & team. He wasn’t interested & he literally went into hiding. 2nd time in a row he has pulled out. 2nd time in a row I’m going to step up & take on a new opponent on short notice. AUG 6. MSG.”

Paul and Fury were initially scheduled to fight one another last year, however, Fury was forced to pull out of the fight due to medical issues. Instead, Paul rematched ex-UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, who he again defeated, this time via knockout.

Both Paul and Fury have been very vocal with one another back-and-forth through social media over the past several months, hyping up a fight between each other.

However, for some reason the pair just can’t come to an agreement to meet inside the squared circle to settle their differences.

Paul has yet to confirm who he’ll be fighting instead, however, a report from Sports Illustrated suggests he’s closing in on a deal to take on the son of former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman, Hasim Rahman Jr.

The 31-year-old holds a record of 12-1 as a professional boxer, and would instantly be Paul’s biggest test inside of the ring.
