Jake Paul faced off with Andrew Tate ahead of a potential fight.
YouTube icon turned boxer Paul was last seen in action against mixed martial arts legend Anderson Silva in a boxing match about two weeks ago. He scored the sole knockdown in the contest and pulled off the biggest win of his career with a unanimous decision after going the distance. Following his victory over ‘The Spider,’ Paul remained lowkey on his next opponent.
Jake Paul faces off with Andrew Tate ahead of a potential fight
In a recent video posted to his Twitter account, Jake Paul faces off with internet sensation Tate, teasing a possible bout ahead. ‘The Problem Child’ mentioned negotiations were underway and more developments are expected to follow soon.
“Negotiations have begun between the two parties,” a spokesman for Tate later told Mirror Fighting. “It’s a fight the fans have been asking for and it’s an event the world will remember.”

Paul stands undefeated in six bouts as a professional boxer. He holds notable wins and knockouts over former MMA champion Ben Askren, and former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Before taking on Silva, he got lined up with Tommy Fury, brother of former boxing world champion Tyson Fury, on two occasions but the matchup never came to fruition.
Tate praised Paul for his move to boxing
Tate is a former professional kickboxer and a four-time world champion. Although he has not competed in years, he never announced his retirement from combat sports and has expressed his willingness to fight again.
In August, Tate praised Jake for a successful move to the sport and bashed his elder brother Logan for refusing to go public with his thoughts.
“Jake seems to be a person who is focused on his boxing career and is making his own money, he isn’t scared of getting cancelled from a YouTube channel,” Tate added. “He has a genuine career that he’s taking seriously, Logan needs the algorithm to favour him and his little YouTube channel or he has nothing. Jake is telling the truth about what he believes, but because Logan is bought and sold like a coward, he’s not allowed to say it.”
Tate shares an intense rivalry with Logan but it looks like he’s on a collision course with the younger Paul brother. Considering the massive following Tate amassed, a boxing or kickboxing fight with Paul could certainly make for some solid pay-per-view numbers.
