While still sidelined due to a hand injury, UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman fancies a boxing match against undisputed boxing champ Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. Jake Paul, meanwhile, did not want to miss out on the fun and mocked Usman for yearning for a scrap with Alvarez in the hope to make a huge “payday.”

“The Nigerian Nightmare” did not let it slide and as expected, the YouTuber clapped back with another dig.

“2 questions”

Hours after Paul made fun of him over his looming fight with Alvarez, Usman addressed the issue and laid out “2 questions” for “The Problem Child.” In it, the UFC’s pound-for-pound king strongly suggested that both Paul and Alvarez wouldn’t stand a chance against him if they ever get “locked in a room” together.

“You’re really good at this internet tough guy s*** I give you that,” Usmano wrote on Twitter. “Two questions for you… 1. You & Me locked in a room who makes it out alive? 2. Saul & I locked in a room who makes it out alive? I like your energy though.”

Paul’s witty yet feisty comeback

Indeed, Usman has made his point. However, he did not realize that Paul was witty enough to spot the awkward part in his message. Of course, the internet star quickly let the UFC champion know that it was a nice try but he’ll still end up getting the last laugh.

“Me and you locked in a room together… sounds like a good time to me, I’ll bring the fuzzy handcuff,” Paul replied with a photoshopped image of Usman’s getting choked in his lone MMA defeat.

Both Paul and Usman are keen on taking on Alvarez. However, the Mexican boxing superstar has previously admitted that he’s focused on his return to light heavyweight at the moment.
