Former Boxing Champion Amir Khan Wouldn’t Turn Down A Potential Bout With Conor Mcgregor

Britain’s Amir Khan is challenging American WBO world welterweight champion Terence Crawford this Saturday at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

Despite being an underdog against Crawford who’s one of the best pound-for-pound fighters on the planet, Khan is envisioning a victory afterward hoping to catch up with big things.

A win would set him up with top-level bout against Kell Brook next, but apparently, Khan has other alternative plans instead.

Khan always wanted a piece of Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, but he’d settle with Conor McGregor bout.

In his recent interview with talkSPORT, Khan suggests he’s willing to fight Conor Mcgregor as it’d be a massive showdown.

“We’re at a level now where it makes great business like Floyd Mayweather. We all learned from Floyd Mayweather – how he makes fights happen.

“Conor McGregor vs Amir Khan would be a massive fight. It’d be huge, you’ve got Irish vs English so that’ll be massive.

Khan said it’d be a massive fight, no doubt back in 2017 when Irishman made his boxing debut against boxing legend Mayweather, there fight netted around 4.3 million in PPV buys.

Conor Mcgregor who had momentarily announced his retirement from MMA last month but shortly after teased his return on Twitter. He’s currently in negotiations with the UFC for his comeback.
