Bellator Announces 10-Men Welterweight Tournament

Bellator MMA Reveals Lineup For Upcoming Welterweight Tournament.

Bellator MMA’s president Scott Coker made the official announcement at a press conference for the U.S. launch for streaming service DAZN.

Bellator MMA will host ten men welterweight tournament that features division’s top name, however, the tenth name has yet to be released:(Via MMAFighting)

  • Neiman Gracie
  • Andrey Koreshkov
  • Lorenz Larkin
  • Douglas Lima
  • Rory MacDonald
  • Michael Page
  • Ed Ruth

The card’s opening bout features a trilogy showdown between Lima and Koreshkov at Bellator 205, is set to take place from the SAP Center in San Jose, California on September 29th. Both men hold wins on each other.

In addition to that, reigning Bellator welterweight champion Rory MacDonald will clash against Gegard Mousasi for the middleweight championship in the main event. It will be Bellator’s debut on the DAZN digital streaming platform, which requires a price point of $9.99 a month.
