Mike Perry has his eyes on some big named opponents in the future.
Mike Perry is gearing up for one of the most exciting fights he has had since leaving the UFC. Perry will be taking on former UFC champion Luke Rockhold in the upcoming Bareknuckle FC 41 event. Since leaving the UFC back in 2021, Perry has been keeping himself busy in bare-knuckle boxing. Right now he may be the biggest star that they have on the roster, however for this next coming event, BKFC 41, they have added some more star power.
Perry is happy to be getting a big named fight with Luke Rockhold, however, he’s not looking to stop there. Over the past couple of years, he has been looking to pair himself with the likes of Logan Paul, Jake Paul, Nate Diaz, and more. Now he is adding to his list of possible opponents and wants to book some huge bouts in bare-knuckle boxing or in the boxing ring.
Mike Perry is targeting fights with Tommy Fury and Darren Till
The world of celebrity boxing has grown immensely over the past couple of years. This is mostly due to the popularity of the Paul brothers. Logan and Jake have been making their way in the boxing world by fighting former UFC champions, MMA fighters, and celebrities. Now Mike Perry wants in on the action. He is looking to take on two names when and if he gets past Luke Rockhold on April 29.
“I mean the winner of Paul/Fury, so Tommy Fury would be nice and maybe you meant to say the winner of Paul/Diaz, that too,” he said said in an exclusive interview. I would take the winner, Jake kind of in my eyes set himself back to fight me when he lost to Tommy Fury. So I would rather fight the winner but then again, I’m looking completely elsewhere. I thought you were gonna ask me about the Darren Till stuff. That fight interests me if he wants to come to bare-knuckle and you know, after the Luke Rockhold fight. After I beat Luke Rockhold senseless.”
Tommy Fury is fresh off of his win over Jake Paul which has made him a lucrative target for Perry. Paul will now be facing Nate Diaz, and Perry is also interested in the winner of that fight. He is also interested in another former UFC fighter, Darren Till. Till is rumored to be facing Logan Paul later this year. It seems like one revolving circle of these former UFC fighters and celebrity boxers facing each other and Perry wants in.
