Luke Keeler Shoots Down Idea Of Conor McGregor Boxing Match
Conor McGregor was recently rumored to be working on a boxing match with Luke Keeler later this year. However, according to Luke, this is not very likely.
Conor McGregor put out cryptic tweet recently, implying that he would fight in Dublin on December 4th. Following that, it was revealed that he was reportedly working on a boxing match with Irish boxer Luke Keeler (17-2).

However, Keeler has recently shot down those rumors. According to a recent interview, it is very unlikely that the two will face off. In fact, he sees a more likely outcome for McGregor.
“There is more chance of him going to prison or rehab than fighting me, but you never know. No, seriously, there have been talks but the team decided to focus on a world title fight as it’s close to being agreed.
I honestly don’t think he is in any position to fight anytime soon. I’ll pick up the world title and he can get himself right. When they both happen there will be more chance of it happening. I’m focusing on my own end of things now.”
According to Keeler, he is focused on getting a title fight, instead of the bout with McGregor. He sites McGregor’s recent antics as reasons why the fight will not come together. However, he does admit that if he gets a belt, and McGregor gets a win, the fight could happen then.
Honestly, there are fights that make more sense for Conor McGregor. However if he were to take the Luke Keeler fight, it would surely be massive.
