Makhmud Muradov Signs UFC Deal Under Mayweather Promotions
This may be the closest Floyd Mayweather Jr ever gets to the UFC Octagon. Mayweather’s fighter, Makhmud Muradov, has officially signed with the UFC. The Money Team member is the only fighter on the roster currently signed to Mayweather Promotions. Muradov took to Instagram to reveal the news.
The post translates to, “Officially signed UFC 4-game contract today. I still can’t believe it, my dream has come true. I know nothing more than being grateful and happy. Thank (you) everyone who believed me, what they believe and supports me. The first Uzbek in history in UFC! Let’s go for another win. Thank you all! ️ #UFC #muradov #TMT #fighter #mma #history #uzbek #uzbekistan #czechrepublic #czech”

Using Mayweather as a promotional tool, expect massive amounts of the press to follow alongside Muradov’s career. Floyd himself has already begun promoting Makhmud as the best MMA fighter in the world.

Although Mayweather appears to be excited about his fighter in the UFC, it remains to be seen if he will appear ringside in support of his fighter. Whether he is there or not, Floyd will heavily promote his fighter on his social media accounts. Mainly, his Instagram, which has over 22.8 million followers.

Muradov has over 531k followers on the platform himself, but expect that number to rise with the newly signed deal. Also, expect that number to skyrocket now that MMA fans are aware of the connection between Muradov and Mayweather.
