CM Punk’s cult of personality may have found its home. Over the weekend while everyone was focused on UFC 199 results, UFC 200 hype and media banishments a nice little rumor may have slipped under the radar. Around the online community news may have leaked that CM Punk UFC debut may be coming this summer.
One month after pro wrestler turned UFC champion Brock Lesnar returns to the cage at UFC 200, on August 20th in Las Vegas CM Punk versus Mickey Gall is reportedly set to go down. It’s clobbering time Mr. Punk.
Oh. And CM Punk vs. Mickey Gall is targeted for August 20. Same night as Diaz/McGregor. Hope I didn’t ruin any announcements.

The Punk-Gall welterweight scrap would highlight a UFC 202 undercard that features the rematch between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor in the night’s main event . Fans or non-fans of CM Punk have been impatiently awaiting the former WWE star’s UFC debut since it was announced he would make his MMA maiden voyage way back in December 2014. Can the 37 year old Punk pull off the upset versus Gall?
