UFC president Dana White seems rather pessimistic about a potential return to MMA for Brock Lesnar.
After Lesnar officially became a free agent, rumors started circulating about a potential return to the UFC and a fight against Jon Jones. Dana White even said that he would be open to making the fight happen “if both men want it”.
Fans in the MMA community started speculating about a potential date for Lesnar’s long-awaited return and his potential opponents. However, according to White, the likeliness of that happening might not be what everyone expects.
White talked about Lesnar in an interview with TMZ Sports.
When asked if he had heard anything from Lesnar, White had this to say.
“Not a word.” Said White, “I’d love to hear how he and his family are doing and things like that but I think that would be the extent of a conversation with him.”
“The guy has had a long career, he actually come in and became the UFC heavyweight champion. The guy has made a lot of money, and I just don’t seem him coming back over here again at his age.”
Following Jones’ move to heavyweight, Miocic and N’Gannou have also been speculated as potential opponents.
