Maycee Barber looked back at he parking lot incident she had with a random lady and revealed she was ready to ask Dana White for help if she ever ended up in jail.
Maycee was ready
Speaking to TMZ Sports, “The Future” couldn’t help but laugh at what happened between her, social media influencer Demi Bagby and a random lady called “Karen” in a parking lot. Barber said the lady was acting weird and was threatening to harm them. As one of the best UFC fighters in the women’s division, Barber said she was really hoping for the lady to begin hurting them so she could do what she does best.
As she reflected on the incident, Barber also revealed that she was ready to go to jail that nigh and even texted UFC president Dana White about it.
“I’m like, dude, crazy lady, that is drunk, I’m like one swing, I’m like ‘I know Demi could take her’ but I’m like ‘Uh-uh’ like don’t touch my people, right?” Barber said.
“I just wanted her to swing on Demi, I’m like, I was getting ready, I’m like ‘I’m gonna have to call Dana and explain to him why I’m going to jail because I had to lay this lady out.’ I literally have a text thread with Dana telling him that. I’m like ‘Dude, I thought I was gonna have to call you tonight and be like hey, come help me out, I need to get out of jail,’” she revealed.
“Obviously, I had my phone out recording, I’m cracking up because I think it’s hilarious,” Barber said. “This lady’s like ‘If you touch me, I’ll bust your face.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, you don’t want to touch her, don’t touch her.’ And then she’s like ‘I’ll beat both your mother-effing a**es’ and I was like ‘Oh hell no.’ I’m quite and just laughing because I’m like, ‘I hope you do. I hope you try,'” she recalled.
Maycee has been lucky
Prior to the “Karen” incident, Barber was hospitalized due to pneumonia shortly after her decision win over Katlyn Cerminara at UFC 299. Fortunately, the No. 4 women’s flyweight contender managed to recover and is now in good condition.
Despite her bizarre experiences lately, Barber has been lucky as she was able to get through them unscathed and safe. She has also been on a roll in her career, having gone unbeaten in her last six fights.
