I don’t think that Jon Jones turning heel is the problem. Not at all. It’s Jon Jones turning into a homophobic, hypocritical liar that seems to be the real issue at hand. Of course that previous statement is based on the plethora of incidents we’ve seen this year, far too many to name in this article. However in regards to Jon Jones’ eye poke issue, the only viable solution is for the UFC to cover costs and have Jon Jones’ fingers surgically removed from his hands. This will prevent Jones from being the source of any eye pokes and subsequently will level the playing field in the light heavyweight division.
Remove Jon Jones’ fingers, or die — or die and not remove Jon Jones’ fingers. The point is, you’re still going to die, and that’s a very sobering thought for a Friday afternoon.
