Video: Jon Jones hands are getting better and he’s killing mitts with power uppercuts

Remember when Jon Jones was just a first class wrestler who can murder you after he put you on your back? Now that “sober weight lifting” Jon Jones is almost officially a thing, the former UFC light heavyweight has some extra time on his hands. When not lifting extreme amounts of weight or doing sober activates like playing the board game Connect Four against himself, Bones is working on his improving his striking skills.

Yes, the best wrestler and strongest grappler at 205 pounds (maybe heavyweight) is now morphing into a kickboxer with much more than six months of sprawl training. With his plastic man reach and natural power Jon Jones now is trying to learn the ability to knockout other human beings with his hands. 2016 is a scary new world filled with Jon Jones uppercutting objects just for the fun of it.
