You can tell the hype for UFC 229 has reached a fevered pitch because Big Nog is now here. We’re not exactly sure what the UFC marketing team down in Brazil is doing but if it involves Bog Nog we’re here for it.
Brazil HQ is just out here freestyling with it. Surely a company wide memo was sent to all of the UFC’s offices across the globe with note attached to promote UFC 229 on social media. Does the UFC still have offices in London, Canada or China? Because there is no way they are topping what UFC Brazil and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira just came up with.
You hear that? That’s the sound of UFC 229 pay per view buys in Brazil going through the roof. 99% sure Brazil gets UFC numbered events for free anyway but after seeing this Big Nog video, the people of Brazil will demand to hand the UFC extra cash for UFC 229.
Not to over hype it but this is actually Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira impersonating both Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Minotauro has been retired since 2015 and maybe he has spent the better part of the last three years taking improv acting classes.
Conor is that you? We think that really is Khabib. Who can really be sure with the power of special effects nowadays.
We have no grasp of Portuguese but we are sure whatever Big Nog is saying it is the truth. Respect the legend and respect whatever the hell Nogueira is doing here. Can’t wait for UFC 229 but also can’t wait to see how Big Nog’s acting skills have evolved over the next few weeks.
