It looks like Alex Pereira has a new gig.

The reigning UFC light heavyweight world champion has quickly become one of the most popular fighters on the planet courtesy of his signature stone-faced expression and his penchant for rendering other fighters unconscious with relative ease.

Recently, Pereira was featured in a promo for Topps, the popular trading card manufacturer that recently kicked off a buyback program offering collectors store credit for trading in their Chrome UFC trading cards featuring ‘Poatan.’

Check out the commercial below:

If you want to participate in the buyback program, the process is fairly simple:

  • Buy 2024 Topps Chrome UFC and collect Alex Pereira cards.
  • Bring those Alex Pereira cards to your local participating hobby shop.
  • Exchange the cards for store credit.

Topps has a list of participating partners on its website right here. If you don’t have a location in your area, Topps has partnered with three retailers to service mail-in UFC Main Event cards for the buyback event.

What’s Next For Alex Pereira?

Fresh off his first defense of the 205-pound crown at UFC 300, Alex Pereira is already on the hunt for his next opponent. Initially, it looked like ‘Poatan’ would be paired up with No. 2 ranked contender Magomed Ankalaev. However, with Ankalaev wanting to wait until October, Pereira would rather pursue a rematch with former champion Jiri Prochazka

Recently, undisputed UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has shown interest in a superfight between the two — once he takes care of some business with consensus heavyweight GOAT Stipe Miocic.

In the meantime, check out some behind-the-scenes footage from Pereira’s Topps commercial:
