Coming off a dominant win over Nate Maness, budding contender Umar Nurmagomedov faced Raoni Barcelos on the main card of UFC Fight Night 217 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Barcelos moving ahead. Umar steps in with a kick to the middle but misses. Nice right-hand grazes Umar. Umar constantly switching stances and keeping Barcelos at range with his kicks. Barcelos’ head kick was blocked. Barcelos with another kick blocked. Nice jab from Umar. Counter right hook by Umar and a straight left following a stance switch. Barcelos fires back with a kick to the body. Umar with a great left hand from the southpaw stance; set up well with his kicks. Nice low kick by Barcelos. Umar with a right hand. Back knee to the body followed up by a huge left from Umar sleeps Barcelos.
