The undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov takes on Nate Maness at UFC Vegas 57.
Round 1:
Maness presses forward, looking to get a combination off of Nurmagomedov. The two test out their range on the feet with not much action going on. Nurmagomedov clinches up with Maness with the Dagestani getting an easy takedown. Nurmagomedov establishes control with top position. Nurmagomedov presses Maness towards the cage as he continues to dominate. Nurmagomedov stays busy, advancing positions on the ground. He finishes the round landing some good punches in.
Round 2:
Nurmagomedov works his kicking game in the opening seconds of round 2. That doesn’t last long however as Nurmagomedov gets another quick takedown. Nurmagomedov gets half guard and lands a few elbows to head of Maness. Eventually, Nurmagomedov gets the back of Maness and lands some ground and pound. Maness turns the opposite direction with the round ending.
Round 3:
Nurmagomedov chops Maness with leg kicks. Nurmagomedov lands a beautiful kick to the face of Maness. Nurmagomedov dodges a headlock from Maness and returns fire with a teep kick to the body. Maness shoots for another takedown and gets it, with three minutes left on the clock.
The undefeated fighter continues to look dominant on the ground. Umar Nurmagomedov finishes the fight on top, going the distance with no adversity whatsoever.
