Since we are done with UFC 219 event, now its time to look ahead for UFC’s next PPV offering in 2018.
A UFC 220’s main event features a UFC Heavyweight Championship bout between current champ Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou and takes place on Jan. 20 at the TD Garden arena in Boston.
Stipe Miocic will defend the UFC heavyweight title for a record third consecutive time against up-and-comer Francis Ngannou.
Miocic was last seen at UFC 211 in a rematch on May 2017, made his second title defense against Junior dos Santos and won the bout via TKO in the first round.
Ngannou destroyed Alistair Overeem via knockout in the first-round at UFC 218 last month in Detroit to remain undefeated. Immediately put himself in title shot consideration after scoring his fourth consecutive first-round finish.
In the co-main event, Daniel Cormier will look to defends his 205-pound title against Volkan Oezdemir.
