This is what Anderson Silva is doing to prepare for his rematch with Chris Weidman at UFC 168

It’s October 31st 2013, exactly 117 days since Chris Weidman knocked out Anderson Silva at UFC 162 and my brain still refuses to comprehend that it actually happened. I’ve been conditioned to symbiotically associate Anderson Silva with the phrase ‘UFC middleweight champion’ ever since he TKOd Rich Franklin at UFC 64. Chris Weidman being considered the 185 lb champion just doesn’t register in my cerebral cortex. Sure he has a shiny belt that he occasionally lugs around when he does press appearances, but he has to defend the title before the MMA world truly considers him the greatest at middleweight.

Granted, we all saw that Chris Weidman finished Anderson Silva, and there wasn’t a single person in the audience that wasn’t absolutely shocked by that conclusion. Even if you thought Weidman was going to win, LOL if you truly thought he would KO The Spider on his feet.

Apparently Anderson has cranked the knob on his MMA training machine and has been undergoing rigorous training in an attempt to retrieve his UFC middleweight belt once again. Check out this clip and find out what he’s been up to the past two months.
