Both Josh Thomson and Sean Strickland have hot takes when it comes to the UFC.
Thomson Says Dana White ‘Never Gave A F*ck’
Thomson, the former UFC fighter and MMA personality, isn’t always a fan of how Dana White gets stuff done. Especially when it came down to a quick decision following the UFC 282 main event.
With the light heavyweight title still vacant after a split draw between Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev, White would throw a curveball and announce an entirely new title fight in Glover Teixeira vs. Jamahal Hill at UFC 283 next month. It wouldn’t take very long for Thomson to react to this unpredictable pivot from his old UFC boss.
“Dana never gave a f*ck,” Thomson said on the Weighing In podcast. “These guys are still in the back getting stitched up and putting ice on their shins and f*cking Dana’s announcing the next title shot in the weight class they just fought for.
“He never gave a sh*t. He’s like, ‘I need a champion man. Can’t market all these pay-per-views without a champion. I need a champion.'”
‘That’s How The World Works’
The always-vocal Strickland would respond to Thomson’s comments, telling him that’s the name of the game.
“We are prostitutes lmao,” Strickland wrote on his Instagram story. “There is nothing wrong with that, but stop acting like we’re anything more. Dana is a businessman and we are the cattle lmao. Just how the world works.”

Regardless of how he feels about the promotion, Sean Strickland will be back in action this weekend against Jared Cannonier.
