Sean Strickland shared a video of himself doing the most American thing ever, showering with an AK-47.
Top-ranked middleweight contender Strickland is coming off a loss to title challenger Alex Pereira in his last outing in July at UFC 276. Strickland succumbed to Pereira’s signature left hook in the opening round and lost out on a potential shot at the gold. The outspoken star turned out to be a fan favorite during the build-up to the International Fight Week card in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a recent video uploaded to his Instagram, Sean Strickland shared a clip of himself showering with an AK-47. He encouraged his followers to follow suit and do what he called the most American thing ever.
“Lesson number 3 in my “taticool” course. You always… always…. shower with your AK.. she likes to be dirty but not that dirty. I’m going to give you guys some advice. Showering with your AK is the most F*cking American thing you can do. It’s not f*cking weird.”

Considering that Avtomat Kalashnikova was developed in the Soviet Union by Russian small-arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov, it might not be the most American thing to shower with the specific gun. Perhaps, the Kentucky Rifle might be more to his taste.
Strickland will return against Jared Cannonier
Strickland is lined up to face Jared Cannonier in his return to action at UFC Fight Night 216 on Dec. 17 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cannonier enters the outing after an unsuccessful title shot on the same card as Strickland. Reigning 185-pound titleholder Israel Adesanya cruised his way to a lopsided decision win to add another title defense under his belt.
The 31-year-old California native is known for his hot takes. He recently went on a tirade against Ronda Rousey for her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and stated ‘omen are f**king weak.’
