Alexander Volkanovski and Robert Whittaker may be trading in their 4oz gloves for a pair of wrestling boots.
On Monday morning, the UFC’s parent company, Endeavor Holdings Group, announced that it had acquired the majority stake in Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment empire, WWE. Since then, fans and fighters have been fan-casting potential crossovers between the two organizations. During an appearance on Fox Sports Australia, reigning UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski cosplayed as Attitude Era anti-hero ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin while former middleweight titleholder Robert Whittaker busted out the red and yellow for his take on pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan.
While Robert Whittaker was a little more modest during his mock entrance, Alexander Volkanovski went all in while impersonating ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ inside the studio.

Alexander Volkanovski and Robert Whittaker Show Off Their Mic Skills
The two UFC stars even attempted to cut a WWE-style promo on host Niko Pajarillo.
“Brother I want you to listen to me and listen to me good. Brother, when I’m speaking to you you look me in my eyes. I’m already in the WWE,” Whittaker said giving his best impression of the ‘Hulkster.’
“And that’s the bottom line because Stone Cold and the Hulk said so,” Volkanovski added.
Alexander Volkanovski and Robert Whittaker were far from done. When asked which UFC fighters could potentially succeed as WWE Superstars, they responded in character without missing a beat.
“How about the disrespect?” Volkanovski said. “We’re standing right here, in your presence, outfits and all, and you’re going to ask me who is going to be the best [in the] WWE? I’m going to tell you we’re going to be the best. And that’s the bottom line, because Stone Cold said so!”
“Listen to me good, brother,” Whittaker continued. “I’ve been asking all the Hulkamaniacs out there, ‘Who would be the best?’ Robert Whittaker! That’s what they said, brother. They looked me in my eye and they said, Robert Whittaker!”
“And that’s not all, because the Hulk has got something else for y’all,” Volkanovski added, at which point Whittaker stood up and tore off his shirt, a la Hulk Hogan, while Volkanovski walked around flipping the bird in true ‘Stone Cold’ style.
