Stipe Miocic knows he possesses a lot of problems for Jon Jones.

Miocic is set to return to the Octagon in the main event of UFC 295 as he faces Jones for the heavyweight title. It’s a massive fight and Miocic plans to come out of the gates aggressively and get after Jones from the get-go.

“Coming out blazing glory, throwing bombs and having fun and doing what I do, bring the fight,” Miocic said to The Fight Guys on BetOnline.

Although Stipe Miocic wants to bring the fight to Jon Jones, he believes he has plenty of advantages over him.

Miocic believes his power will play a factor

The former UFC heavyweight champion thinks his speed and power will play a big role in him getting his hand raised over Jones at UFC 295 on Nov. 11 at Madison Square Garden.

“I think speed, my angles, punching power. I hit a lot harder than people think, I think I have a great IQ, I always change it up and if something happens, I figure a way out,” Miocic said.

If Stipe Miocic does get the KO win over Jon Jones with his power, it would be a statement-making victory. Miocic would be a three-time heavyweight champion and would further cement himself as the greatest heavyweight in UFC history.

With that, Miocic knows this fight means everything to him and it’s arguably one of the biggest fights in the promotion’s history.

“Everything, man. I think this is what it is all about, this is what the fans wanted to see. It’s a fight he wanted, I wanted, two of the best going at it. Nothing gets better than that,” Miocic concluded.

Stipe Miocic hasn’t fought since March 2021 at UFC 260 when he suffered a second-round KO loss to Francis Ngannou to lose his title. In his career, Miocic has defended his heavyweight title four times, which is the UFC record for most heavyweight title defenses.
