Stipe Miocic And Daniel Cormier Staredown First Time Ahead Of UFC 226 Superfight

Stipe Miocic, a reigning heavyweight champion, and light heavyweight champion headline the UFC 226 had their first face-off at the UFC Performance Institute Las Vegas, which goes down on July 7.

Both champions defended their titles at UFC 220, which opened a path for this amazing super fight.

Daniel Cormier defended his light heavyweight title against swiss contender Volkan Oezdemir and scores a dominating win. While heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic scores a decision win after five round of war over rising contender Francis Ngannou.

In the meantime, though, both fighters are coaching 16 undefeated athletes split into two weight classes, with lightweights and featherweights going through the traditional 27th season of The Ultimate Fighter‘TUF’ tournament to win a UFC contract.

Alongside the UFC 226, another champion vs. champion super fight is rumored to be targeted between Tj Dillashaw a bantamweight champion and, Demetrious Johnson, flyweight champion.
