The main event for UFC Portland was super crazy. John Lineker basically walked through hits from John Dodson like Superman walks through bullets. They went after each other from the first bell, that is, until Dodson got hit a couple of times and then he “ran” from Lineker for most of the fight. But that mohawked madmen chased him down and slugged it out with him the best he could.
Probably the unsung hero of this whole thing, was a wild Nick Diaz appearing on MMA Twitter and talking shit about the whole scenario. In honor of the oldest Diaz coming out of Twitter retirement (and seems like fighting retirement), let’s look at all the shit he tweeted during the fight.
This is actually a pretty good strategy. Depending on the judge, you can at least hit a guy 4-7 times in the d**k before you get a point taken off. If you truly did believe that you couldn’t win a fight, by all means, Eddie Guerrero that motherfucker. Lie, cheat and steal.
Listen dude, you can’t win the fight if you are running. Well, I mean, you can kind of. Running is how everyone who ever beat Nick Diaz won, either that or on bullshit points. But, in a Diaz’s eyes you can’t truly win If you’re going to run, you have to at least intermittently kick the guy in the balls. Do something.
…Finally a guy who is going to fight though, right!? Lineker is Diaz approved and that’s a very hard thing to accomplish. Hope to see him in a black “represent” t-shirt soon. Or a hoodie that just says “Stockton”.
Dodson out here smiling and shit, thinking he won the fight. He’s fake, that dude knew he didn’t win the fight. He may have with some other buster ass judges, but Diaz is judging this fight.
When Diaz runs after guys who can’t fight and peppers them with punches, he never wins. Probably some whack judges or some shit. Diaz would always win if it was Pride rules, or if there was no cage and time limits. Also if medical marijuana was legal. A stoned Diaz of any first name wins any title or fight they want.
Where I come from, people like that get slapped. Helwani ain’t no MMA judge. The score for this fight was simple: Lineker at a 100 emoji and Dodson at 7 for each round based on a 10 point must system.
Listen, if you’re a keyboard warrior with an opinion then you better be ready to type and bang with Nick damn Diaz. Don’t come at him with some weak shit, because if he’s high at night and just watched some MMA he will own you.
Luckily, the right guy one. Linker should go train with the Diaz Bro’s. He should also get that title shot or at least fight the loser of Cody Garbrant and Dominick Cruz. He kind of needs to make weight first, but at least he didn’t come into the fight with a completely different weight class like Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira.
