Sean Strickland has offered his response to UFC CEO Dana White saying he can’t be around human beings.
Strickland recently had a run-in with music star Machine Gun Kelly during the Power Slap 6 event. The former UFC middleweight champion called MGK “weird” and then called him “vampire man” before being escorted out of the venue. During the Power Slap 6 post-fight press conference, Dana White was asked about the situation by a reporter. Dana said that Sean simply can’t be around other people.
Strickland caught wind of Dana’s comments and he has offered a response.
Sean Strickland Informs Dana White Than Influencers Aren’t Humans
In a new video posted on his YouTube channel, Sean Strickland insisted that he actually loves people.
“You guys, I’m a fan of Dana,” Strickland said. “I know he gets a lot of sh*t, but dude, I’m a fan of Dana. If I were to leave the UFC tomorrow, or me and Dana were to get into a big fight, just like Trump, we’re all just men but I respect Dana. I respect what he’s done, what he says, and there is truth to that. There is truth about me not being around humans, but you guys need to understand I love people.”
When it comes to influencers, however, Strickland doesn’t view the social media figures as actual people.
“We’re not talking about humans, you guys,” Strickland said. “We’re not talking about you guys, we’re talking about influencers and people with cameras in front of their face. Until you spend a week with these people you do not understand it. There’s a difference between us and them, there’s a f*cking big difference. They’re not human. I would applaud any human being that could spend a week with them and not hit them.”
Strickland recently had a one-sided spar with influencer Sneako, and of course the former UFC titleholder couldn’t help but to dial things up to level 100. He’s since found himself in beefs with Jake Paul and Bryce Hall.
