Sean O’Malley ‘feels bad’ for UFC president Dana White after he got caught on tape slapping his wife back.

White was in San Lucas Cabo, Mexico with his family and friends to bring in the New Year. He was at a popular nightclub in the city when a physical altercation broke out with his wife, Anne, right around midnight. TMZ Sports first reported the news earlier this week and posted a clip in which Anne can be seen slapping White before he hits her back and follows up with more slaps.

In a recent video uploaded on YouTube, Sean O’Malley shared his thoughts on the personal dispute between Dana White and his wife.

“This happened New Year’s and it came out Monday which is rare because TMZ sh*t usually comes out instantly. They got good PR behind,” O’Malley said. “He came out with an apology which I watched. I thought he said everything he needed to say but it seemed genuine. God, it’s hard with alcohol. There’s two things; alcohol and chicks don’t mix.

“I feel bad for Dana. His wife slapped him. That is rude and it deserves a slapping back. I don’t know it’s a tricky one. It’s like, treat people how you want to be treated.”

O’Malley believes White will lose business

‘Suga’ Sean believes that White would not have reacted in the same manner if he was sober and argued the incident will likely cause a drop in business for White.

“Sober, would he have done that? No. I would assume sober, no drinks, she slaps him, I don’t think his initial reaction is to slap back. When that alcohol’s flowing, I’ve never hit a girl, but I’ve been blacked out and I’ve done things that I can’t believe I’ve done. What if that was his like, ‘f***!’ I don’t know. I don’t think it was right. Obviously, you should not hit, especially a little girl like that.”

“No, it’s not right. They’re going to lose a lot of business. It sucks but man, it’s hard to say… He’s definitely going to lose money, get a lot of negative feedback and gain some haters.”

Sean O’Malley is coming off an impressive win over Petr Yan in his last outing at UFC 280. He has been calling for a title shot but no concrete developments have come yet.
