UFC 282 just got a little bit more stacked.

Rosas Jr. To Make Debut

There’s plenty of stars on the last pay-per-view event of the year, but none of them are as young as Raul Rosas Jr. The 18 year-old talent is now set to make his debut against Jay Perrin on Dec. 10, according to both fighters’ management.

Rosas Jr. would be make history on the latest season of Dana White’s Contender Series earlier this year. The bantamweight prospect would punch his ticket to the UFC at just 17 years old with an impressive decision win over Mando Gutierrez. The contract-winning performance would make him the youngest fighter in UFC history.

A few weeks later, Rosas Jr. would celebrate his 18th birthday… which means his parents don’t have to sign permission slips for him to fight at UFC 282. It will be Rosas Jr’s sixth fight this year.

On the other side of the cage, lies Jay Perrin. The 29 year-old fighter has been competing for quite some time now, making his amateur debut back in 2012. After five straight wins, Perrin would turn pro in 2014. He’d amass a record of 10-4 before earning a UFC contract in 2022.

Unfortunately, Perrin hasn’t had the best of luck inside the Octagon. He’d lose his UFC debut against Mario Bautista as well as his sequel appearance to Aoriqileng at UFC 278.

‘The Joker’ will look to bounce back and spoil the highly-anticipated debut of one Raul Rosas Jr. at UFC 282.
