Report: UFC Is Frustrated Over Conor Mcgregor’s Attitude, He Hasn’t Agreed To Do Media For UFC 229

Conor Mcgregor Hasn’t Agreed To Do Any Press Conferences or Interviews At This Moment, UFC Is Frustrated Over That

There is media related rift between UFC, and it’s cash cow Conor Mcgregor emerges as MMA world is awaiting for first UFC 229 press conference. Mcgregor is avoiding as much media as possible ahead of his much-anticipated fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov on October 6.

Mcgregor who’s returning to the Octagon after two years of hiatus in the main event of UFC 229 PPV event, where he’ll challenge the division’s top ground-and-pound fighter an undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title.

It’s been a few weeks since the fight announcement happened and there’s no sign of when UFC will kick-start the promotional media obligations for UFC 229 PPV event. But one thing is apparent that Mcgregor for sure looking a winning way in his upcoming fight.

According to Dave Meltzer’s newsletter, UFC is super frustrated with Mcgregor and the way he’s showing attitude in the built of his fight.

“One of the reasons you haven’t seen much in the way of interviews and such is that McGregor has not agreed to do anything. There are no press conferences scheduled because McGregor at this point hasn’t agreed to them. There is a lot of frustration within the UFC about McGregor’s attitude, but in the end, he’s got the leverage and the ticket sales and secondary market results only give him more leverage.

The feeling is that this may be the biggest non-boxing PPV of all-time, and the only reason it wouldn’t be is that McGregor hasn’t been pushing it hard. McGregor was able to get a larger piece of the action for this fight than any of his UFC fights to date, so there is a direct correlation more than ever between his work in promoting the fight and his pocket book, but this may also show that he knows he’s in a real fight and doesn’t want to break training.”

We don’t know what’s cooking behind the scene, but it’s apparent Mcgregor is fully training and working on his gameplan for the challenging fight of his career. At this moment don’t expect anything from Notorious in regards to interviews and media wait until few days to go for the fight night.
