Reinier De Ridder remains undefeated in MMA.

The ONE Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Champion would make the first defense of his middleweight title. He’d collide with Kiamrian Abbasov in the main event of ONE: Full Circle on Friday.

And Still!

De Ridder would end up dominating as he usually does. After two rounds in the books, ‘The Dutch Knight’ would continue do what he does best: grapple. Less than a minute into the third round, De Ridder would drive Abbasov down to the ground. Getting op position with ease, he’d secure a arm-triangle on the challenger.

Within a few seconds of the choke, Abbasov would tap out. De Ridder had done it. He had not only defended his light heavyweight strap, but also his middleweight one.

Before beating Abbasov, the Dutchman would defeat Aung La N Sang twice in a row, stealing both of his titles. Thus, a champ-champ was forged.

De Ridder Calls Out Andre Galvao

Shifting his focus onto the mic, De Ridder would have an interesting interview post-fight. He would call out BJJ star, Andre Galvao to a fight. Talk about a call-out.

“Andre Galvao, let’s find out who the best grappler is,” De Ridder stated. “Let’s go man, I’ll choke you out!”
