Nice try homie. As the sport of MMA continues to grow more mainstream media outlets will cover or at least try to cover the sport. UFC 196 is now Nate Diaz versus Conor McGregor and both ESPN as well as Fox Sports were on the frontlines attempting to own the story of the last second main event change.
Then there was CBS Sports.
Oh, CBS Sports. With reports of low morale at CBS Sports.com as it eschews reporting in favor of aggregation, perhaps mixing up Nick and Nate Diaz was blogging robots malfunctioning at the wheel.
Home of “America’s most watched network” CBS is still learning the ins and outs of human cage fighting, so please excuse them if they still are learning the names of the Diaz brothers. They both start with the letter “N”; this shit can get confusing.
Maybe CBS Sports was just prepping for that Nick Diaz vs. Conor McGregor UFC welterweight title fight in 2017?
That's a picture of the wrong Diaz 🐸☕️ pic.twitter.com/egdUsqfgCY
