The PFL will be heading to the UK for their 2022 playoffs this August.

On Tuesday morning, the PFL announced that the promotion will be going across the pond for two events for the 2022 season playoffs. New York will host the first week of the 2022 playoffs at the Hulu Theater inside Madison Square Garden on August 5. The following week they will move to the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales, on Aug. 13, and then finally, they will end the playoffs at the Copper Box Arena in London on Aug. 20.
Light heavyweights and lightweights will take place in New York, heavyweights and featherweights will compete in Wales, and welterweights and women’s lightweights will close out the three-week run in London.
In a press release, PFL CEO Peter Murray spoke about their partnership with Live Nation.
“We’re thrilled to announce our international partnership with Live Nation as the world’s top music and entertainment promoter makes its move into the world’s fastest growing sport,” said PFL CEO Peter Murray. “MMA fans in the United Kingdom will experience PFL’s star fighters battle it out for a shot at the PFL World Championship and the $6 million dollar prize money.”
Before the PFL makes their way over to the UK for the first time, they have a three-week trip to Atlanta, Georgia, next month.
