Julianna Pena is still pushing for another fight with Amanda Nunes.

‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ would lose her UFC bantamweight title in her rematch against Nunes in dominant fashion, suffering the defeat over the distance. However, the setback won’t stop her from vying for another fight with her rival.

‘She Doesn’t Touch Me Next Time’

Reflecting on the rubber match, Pena accepts the fact that she wasn’t ready for the ‘entirely revamped’ style of ‘The Lioness’. Come next time (if there is a next time), she claims Nunes will have nothing for her.

“When someone has entirely revamped and completely switched their entire stance, and their entire fighting style because of me, I take that as a complement, you know?” Peña said during the UFC Vegas 59 post-fight show.

“I think that if you give me time to get ready for both stances of Amanda, she doesn’t touch me next time. I’m just really hoping that she heals up and that she’s able to get back in there before the end of the year because I’ll absolutely be ready for that trilogy fight.”

Pena Wants To Enter ‘Round 8’ With Nunes

Both ladies left the month of July wearing insane damage on their bodies. But, that won’t stop Pena from pursuing a title showdown against Nunes ASAP.

“I’m ready to go Round 8 right now,” Pena added. “Let’s freakin’ go. I’m here, where you at Amanda? Amanda, seriously, where you at? You left your girl [Brogan Walker] hanging out there. I showed up for Team Peña, she didn’t show up for Team Nunes.

“I’m here, I’m ready to go Round 8.”
