Paulo Costa is taking any opportunity he can to troll his former opponent Luke Rockhold.
One of the biggest fights this past Saturday night was a bare-knuckle bout between former UFC fighters Mike Perry and Luke Rockhold. Fans were eager to see two of their favorite fighters matched up with no gloves to protect them. Most interestingly was the fact that Rockhold was returning from a brief retirement to try out this savage sport. Rockhold, who moonlights as a model seemed to take most of the damage as he waved off the fight in the second round following damage to his teeth.
After the fight, the status of Rockhold’s mouth was the talk of the town and one former opponent of his could not hold back with the jokes. Paulo Costa took to Twitter to send some trash talk Rockhold’s way, further inciting their ongoing rivalry.

Paulo Costa trolls Luke Rockhold following his BKFC loss to Mike Perry
Costa’s last fight in the UFC was against Rockhold. They fought back in August of last year in a middleweight fight. Costa won that bout by unanimous decision and ultimately Rockhold retired from MMA. Since then, Costa has not lightened up on Rockhold and has been targeting him on social media. Following the BKFC loss, he went all in on Rockhold.

Following the loss, Rockhold made a statement to fans, in it he said that he was not done fighting, but was ruling out another bare-knuckle fight. He hinted at wanting to try his hands at boxing and although Costa is currently in negotiations with the UFC to sign a new deal, this would be a fight fans would be interested in. Perhaps Costa and Rockhold will share the ring one day either when Costa’s new deal is over or if he decides to make an early exit from the UFC.
