MMA can’t quit Paulie Malignaggi.
One day the sport of Bare Knuckle Boxing is going to blow through all their money; today (Apr. 2) is not that day. At the latest Bare Knuckle Boxing media event, Malignaggi and Artem Lobov were put in the same place, at the same time. This was another brilliant idea.
Then whatever thought would happen, happened. These two dudes who talk endless smack online, actually came face to face in person. The living embodiment of The Internet took place at a Bare Knuckle Boxing media event.
Malignaggi and Lobov both had receipts and were looking to cash out.
The two men went nose to nose and then a little bit of combat sports magic happened; Paulie actually slapped the taste right of Artem’s mouth.
Shocking.
These two don’t even have a fight lined up together and they’re out here selling it all.
Good times.

Knowing the nature of combat sports and the business savvy of upstart promotions, there is a very good chance that Paulie and Artem will never share a ring/cage together. Something will happen and this will blow up in everyone’s faces.
There was a time when Paulie was a legit option for a Conor McGregor payday. Now he’s out here slapping Mystic Mac B-characters for attention.
Where did it all go wrong and or oh so very right?
