Paul Daley Retires From MMA, Following Vicious KO Of Wendell Giacomo – Bellator 281 Results (Highlights)

Paul Daley delivered one final knockout to cap off his career.

Paul Daley makes one more walk to the cage. 

The 63-fight veteran enters his final fight at Bellator 281 in London, England. Daley takes on Wendell Giacomo for his last assignment. 

Round 1:

Paul Daley pumps out the jab. Giacomo pushes forward to start the round. Giacomo goes for a left hook and clinches up with Daley against the cage. Giacomo takes Daley to the ground but Daley gets back to his feet. However, Giacomo gets the Englishman back to the mat.

Giacomo seizes control on top. Daley gets up to his feet only to be taken down by Giacomo once again. After minutes of being controlled, Daley reverses position near the final minute of the round. Giacomo goes for a heel hook from bottom but is unable to get it.

Round 2:

Giacomo gets ‘Semtex’ down to the ground once more. Giacomo tries to take the back of Daley, who wears him like a backpack. Giacomo continues to control but Daley finally pops back up to his feet. Daley detonates and explodes with a barrage of punches. He rocks Giacomo while he is on his knees. Daley swings for the fences for the final knockout of his career… and he gets it.

Giacomo falls to the ground and Daley is victorious in his swan song. That’s KO #35 for the MMA veteran.
