Paige VanZant won’t fight Maycee Barber because she slid into her husband’s DMs

Paige Vanzant Maycee Barber Husband

Shoot your shot Maycee. Not sure who exactly Maycee Barber is but Paige VanZant now hates her.

A story old as time: girl wants fight, girl can’t get fight, so girl slides into the DMs of her opponent’s husband. It’s a beautiful story. Real fairy tale type stuff right here.

Appearing on the Ariel Helwani Show featuring Ariel Helwani, Paige and her husband Austin Vanderford explained how Barber tried to drive a wedge between them. This is next level mind games.

Did MiddleEasy just become huge fans of Maycee The Future Barber for being an evil pro wrestling heel? (got to work on that nickname)

“I don’t know, I think it’s part of the division. Everybody wants the money fight, and there’s people in line, so. It’s an interesting fight, but I do think there is disrespect in the UFC and in MMA, and it gets too much attention. It gets too much validity. Being a disrespectful person shouldn’t be valued, and I definitely won’t give her the time of day. I’m not going to take the bait, and that’s why I’ve stayed quite the entire time.”

Paige continued on ehr epic rant against the dangers of IG DMs. This truly is a PSA for the youth.

“Actually, I was going to say yes to the fight, but I think it’s completely inappropriate to slide into someone’s husband’s DM’s trying to get a fight. Messaging my husband on Instagram trying to agitate me. So that’s why I have stayed relatively quite about this and I’m just not going to reward disrespectful people. It would be a reward for her to fight me and she doesn’t deserve it.”

You know what? This only makes the entire MMA world want to watch Paige VanZant and Maycee Barber punch each other even more. Good work all around here. MMA remains our fav soap.
