Well this sucks. MMA’s favorite polarizing female fighter Paige VanZant is injured again. There’s being injury prone then there’s flat out bad luck and it feel likes Paige falls into the latter category.
Late Thursday night (Feb. 28), PVZ took to social media to reveal another injury that may keep her out awhile. She also included a super nasty visual aid, which is always helpful.
Yeah, arms are not suppose to bend that direction on their own. Looks painful. See you in like six to ten months?
Paige originally broke her arm during her January 2018 fight with Jessica-Rose Clark. PVZ was out a full a year following not one but two surgeries to try and fix her arm.
Paige just fought last month and it’s unknown if this arm injury will keep her out a year again.
Before posting the pic, Paige would then take to the powerful Twitter Machine to release another statement.
Well…. I fractured my arm again. So there’s that.

“Well…. I fractured my arm again. So there’s that.”
At least isn’t broken? Then again some light Internet research says a clean break of bones may heal better than a tricky fracture.
Not sure if PVZ’s career will go down as a big ‘what if’ but she has missed a few opportunities now due to injuries. Have to wonder how much longer Paige VanZant sticks around the world of grimy human cage fighting.
Paige was never going to be a top five or maybe even a top ten fighter, but she was a natural born star for the UFC. This company always needs stars and headliners, and it’s unclear if PVZ will ever fill that role.
Best of luck on the comeback trail PVZ.
