Paddy Pimblett may perhaps be the UFC’s next big star, but he’s not getting paid like it.

The British ‘Baddy’ is making absolute headlines in his young UFC run. Fans went absolute bonkers watching Pimblett submit Rodrigo Vargas at UFC London last weekend. He’d get it done in one at the sold-out 02 Arena, receiving the loudest crowd reaction of the night.

With a ton of hype surrounding the 27 year-old, many people think he should face steeper competition. However, Paddy isn’t willing to step up, unless it’s worth his while. He recently said he’d have to get more zeros on his contract to face a ranked opponent.

‘The Baddy’ Reveals How Much He Makes

As for the current UFC deal he’s on, Pimblett would reveal exactly how much is in his paycheck. And no… it’s not $107K as some outlets falsely reported.

“12 and 12,” Pimblett told Barstool Sports.  “12 to show and 12 to win.”

$12K to show and $12k to win is standard for UFC newcomers, depending on who you are. So given his popularity and star power, many were surprised with Paddy’s answer being that low of a number.

However, $24K wasn’t the only money Pimblett would take home. There would be a bigger price tag for the former Cage Warriors Champion. He and 8 other UFC fighters would receive $50K bonuses for their finishes at UFC London. So, Pimblett would gross $78K instead. This of course, comes before all of percentages the fighter has to pay his team and taxes as well.

Paddy Wants A New Contract

Pimblett isn’t exactly complaining about his ‘little standard’ paycheck, but believes he deserves a new contract with his last performance. When that comes? Who knows? However, Paddy Pimblett looks forward to when it eventually does.

“It goes up after every fight, but you’re in a contract, so it’s whenever they want to offer me a new one, they offer me a new one,” Pimblett added. “So it’s just those things.”
