'Suga' thinks Paul vs. Diaz 2 inside the Smart Cage would be sweet.

Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz in MMA? Sean O’Malley is all in.

‘The Problem Child’ collided with the UFC superstar last weekend in Dallas, Texas. After ten rounds of back-and-forth action, Paul and Diaz went the distance where Paul was awarded the unanimous decision victory on the scorecards.

Paul vs. Diaz II

Since the verdict on Saturday, there has been much talk of a rematch between the two fighters. The potential rubber match is thought to take place inside the cage, rather than the boxing ring, however, as Paul is indeed signed to the PFL.

While Stockton’s Diaz isn’t keen on fighting for the PFL, O’Malley believes he could be made an offer he simply can’t refuse.

“Nate vs. Jake in MMA, that actually is realistic at this point,” O’Malley said on his podcast. [Paul is] a businessman. He has what part equity or ownership in PFL now? Say you give Nate Diaz $10M, you do a million pay-per-views, $50 a buy. 50 million, can be 60 million if it’s $60 a buy. Pay Nate $10M, [Paul], you could pay yourself 10-15, whatever.

“That’s a very profitable fight for the PFL,” O’Malley added. “Massive fight for the PFL.”

‘Win-Win’

‘Suga’ doesn’t think the YouTuber-turned-boxer has much to lose if he takes on Diaz in his pro MMA debut.

“It’s a win-win. He takes the fight. That’s a win,” O’Malley said of Jake Paul. “He goes out there and loses. He’s 0-1 in MMA, doesn’t really give a f*ck. He’s a boxer— brilliant.”

‘Jake vs. Nate Was So F*cking Sick’

Sean O’Malley believes last weekend’s boxing headliner trumped the UFC’s.

“I did take a nap in the middle of [Sandhagen vs. Font], I mean you compare that to Jake vs. Nate boxing… 99% of the time boxing is not nearly as fun to watch as UFC, but that was completely opposite. Jake vs. Nate was so f*cking sick.”
