Not everyday can the MMA world say the internet truly won on getting Patrick Cummins a shot against Daniel Cormier at UFC 170, which was reported first by @ArielHelwani.
You guys simply manifested this fight into the MMA consciousness when last night it was announced Rashad Evans could no longer face Cormier due to an injury. Initially the fight was scrapped, leaving only Ronda Rousey vs. Sara McMann to headline the event. However after all of your tweets and other social media interaction that is far too expansive to condense here, 4-0 Patrick Cummins will have a shot at the UFC and take on undefeated Daniel Cormier in a light heavyweight bout.
