Bo Nickal’s highly-anticipated UFC debut is here.
The undefeated prospect’s first fight in the Octagon comes against Jamie Pickett at UFC 285.
Round 1:
Nickal falls to the ground after missing on a kick attempt. Nickal gets up to his feet and presses Pickett towards the cage in the clinch. Nickal looks for a d’arce choke but Pickett defends. Nickal then seizes the back of his opponent, trying to snatch the rear-naked choke. After attempting the submission, Nickal goes for an arm-triangle instead.
Nickal holds Pickett in this submission for quite a while but Pickett refuses to tap. But, Pickett wouldn’t hold out for long. After being trapped in this position for more than a minute, Pickett finally taps out to the credentialed wrestler.
