Francis Ngannou has even more to prove this fall.

The Baddest Man On The Planet

On October 28, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion will be be making his pro boxing debut against the one and only Tyson Fury. The super fight is set to take place in Saudi Arabia.

‘The Predator’ has already shown the world just how great he is inside the Octagon, upon capturing the UFC Heavyweight Championship back in 2021 with a KO of heavyweight great Stipe Miocic. Years after, Ngannou is still considered ‘the baddest man on the planet’ by many for that feat as well as a plethora of scary knockouts in his UFC run.

However, that title will soon be contested when he faces off against ‘The Gypsy King’ inside the boxing ring.

“Tyson Fury’s first, we have to figure out who’s the baddest man on the planet,” Ngannou told Gymshark.

‘Not An Easy One, But I’m Betting On Myself’

After 34 fights, Fury stands tall, still not having lost a single fight in his entire career. The British boxer has beaten the likes of Derek Chisora (x3), Dillian Whyte and Deontay Wilder (x2). Fury will look to add the heavy-handed Ngannou to his already credentialed resume.

Ngannou, who has never boxed before, is oozing confidence ahead of his big gamble against one of the best boxers of this generation.

“I would say I have less experience, but I’m not going to lose,” Ngannou added. “So, I’m betting on myself. Not an easy one, but I’m betting on myself.”

Ngannou On Fury Being Unorthodox

When asked about how he’ll deal with Fury’s ‘awkward’ fighting style, Ngannou had this to say:

“Life in general is very awkward, you have to navigate in between.”

We’ll see just how good Francis Ngannou navigates Tyson Fury on Oct. 28.
