Francis Ngannou might be boxing next, but he isn’t done with MMA just yet.

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion is looking to make his pro boxing debut as early as this summer. After he eventually steps into the ring, there are several avenues that Ngannou can take in his combat sports career, which is most likely a return to MMA.

Ngannou Narrows It Down

Don’t count on Ngannou going back to the UFC, as ‘The Predator’ split up with the promotion after not meeting his list of demands during negotiations. With his back turned away from the world leader, it is unknown where Ngannou will settle in the next chapter of his MMA career.

A few months into free agency, Ngannou has narrowed it down to a few options.

“If I have to pick another MMA organization to go to, I think it’s between this three organizations: PFL, Bellator and ONE Championship,” Ngannou said on his YouTube channel. “Which one would I pick? Very complicated. But, the reason why I will pick one of those would be because of what they are offering, the structure and the vision that they have for the sport, for the fighter.

“Also, the project that they have for Africa. I think those will be one of the most important factor that I will base on to make a decision.”

Ngannou On The Possibility Of Fighting Jon Jones

When it comes to a potential UFC comeback, Ngannou isn’t so sure on if he’ll ever fight current heavyweight champ Jon Jones.

“I don’t know. It’s very tough. I don’t believe that that could happen. Maybe a cross-promotion or whatever it is. I don’t know what the future holds. It’s hard.”
