Rose Namajunas, Jessica Andrade Face Off At UFC 237 Media Day
UFC held a press conference ahead of UFC 237 Pay-Per-View event earlier today in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It’s set to go down on May 11, 2019, inside Jeunesse Arena.
Women’s Strawweight champion Namajunas is coming off 13 month’s of layoff to take on a top 115-pound contender, Jessica Andrade. Both challengers came face to face for the first time ahead of their clash at today’s UFC 237 media scrum. ‘Thug Rose’ was towering over Andrade during the staredown.

Andrade is currently riding on a three-fight winning streak beating out Cláudia Gadelha, Tecia Torres and most recently Karolina Kowalkiewicz. Namajunas meanwhile, successfully defended her title in a rematch against Joanna Jędrzejczyk last August.
