Welp. One of the top MMA fighters on the planet, Miesha Tate just retired from MMA in the Octagon tonight at #UFC205. I mean, she JUST won the title a couple of months ago and some fans were already drooling about a trilogy fight with the returning Ronda Rousey. However, this last lost seemed to but a damper in those plans and Tate felt it was just her time. Which, probably means she’s right.
Now that she's retired is Caraway finally going to put a ring on it……? #UFC205

Will never forget Tate's submission win over Coenen to win the Strikeforce title in July 2011, and even more so, her reaction afterwards.

At least one of her last moments was her trying to replicate Diego Sanchez’s “Showtime” guillotine escape.
