UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping has laid out his pick for the UFC 291 main event.
Taking the headlining spot will be a BMF title fight between Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje. Both men are former interim UFC champions, but they are hoping to win the actual undisputed gold before it’s too late. This one will be a rematch as Poirier defeated “The Highlight” via TKO in 2018.

Michael Bisping Predicts Dustin Poirier vs. Justin Gaethje 2
In a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, Michael Bisping revealed his prediction for the second clash between Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje.
“It’s an incredible fight and I go back and forth,” Bisping said. “I can Poirier winning because of the cleaner boxing. I can see Justin Gaethje winning because of the improvements that he’s made last time out. But I’m going around the houses, I’m not giving you a prediction, I’m doing it right now. Dustin Poirier.”
“I do believe that Dustin Poirier will win this fight. Not a confident pick, but I got to make one. There you go, Dustin Poirier gets the job done, and then goes on to fight for the title.”
Last Chance For Undisputed UFC Gold?
Bisping also shared his belief that the clock could be ticking on the loser’s chances of ever competing for an undisputed UFC title again.
“The real thing that they want is the UFC lightweight title,” Bisping said. “If either man, well, one man is gonna lose, whichever man loses, this is the beginning of the end. I don’t mean the beginning of the end of their career, but can they rebound and get another title fight?”
